About this spot
Bergeins is based on the west shore of Lake Starnberg in Bernried, with a second base in Garmisch-Partenkirchen. This large, deep pre-alpine lake offers flat freshwater and, in summer, thermal winds off the mountains. On the water it is all about SUP, windsurfing and wingfoiling, with e-mountain-bike tours in the hills alongside. The programme runs SUP courses, SUP yoga, wing foil beginner courses plus camps and events. Gear comes from Fanatic and Duotone, and the team brings over 30 years of experience in windsurfing, kiting and SUP.
