The Brombachsee Surf- und Kiteschule operates on the Großer Brombachsee in the Franconian Lake District and covers almost the full board spectrum with windsurfing, kitesurfing, wingfoiling and SUP. Teaching follows VDWS guidelines, from May to October, at several spots around the lake area.
The school is led by Florian Gruber – a multiple World, European and German kite champion – who teaches courses when his competition calendar allows. Windsurfing for children is possible from age six, private training is available by arrangement, and covered surf racks can be rented for your own gear. If you want to learn while drawing on a racer's know-how, this is the place.
