The Dunkerbeck family has run Gran Canaria's southernmost windsurf centre since 1978, right on the beach at Playa del Águila by the Side Shore bungalow complex. This is the family operation around multiple world champion Björn Dunkerbeck, who you'll often find out on the water here himself. They teach windsurfing, surfing and SUP on the Atlantic, riding Starboard and Severne gear. The team speaks German, English and Spanish. A second BD school with a surf shop opened in 2013 at Playa del Inglés.
