On the Salzhaff at Pepelow you'll find the VDWS surf station of the San Pepelone holiday village. The Salzhaff connects to the Baltic only through a narrow opening and is one of Germany's best shallow-water spots: a wide standable area, little chop, mostly onshore wind. There's a dedicated beginner and training zone. You learn windsurfing in beginner, intermediate and advanced courses, with kids' courses from age 7. The VDWS basic licence is taken on site. The rental fleet includes brands such as Tabou, Ezzy and Sailloft. Holiday resort with sauna and sports facilities.
