The water sports school of the Ruder- und Tennisgesellschaft Wesel (RTGW) is based on the Auesee in Wesel. Created by gravel extraction and then renaturalised, the lake covers around 165 hectares, runs to about 17.5 metres deep and counts as one of the cleanest lakes in North Rhine-Westphalia. On this flat freshwater you can learn windsurfing and SUP, and wing foiling is growing in popularity at the spot too.

Tuition covers both beginners and more advanced riders. The Auesee is a versatile area for windsurfers and stand-up paddlers of every level.
