Gargano Surfcenter sits near Vieste on the Gargano peninsula, right on the Adriatic. The bay is shallow and easy to read, a forgiving place to get planing for the first time, and the wind blows here on more than 250 days a year.
Windsurfing is taught to VDWS standard, from the basic course up to the VDWS licence, run as five two-hour sessions. Kids aged 8 to 12 have their own small-group lessons. The rental fleet is North Sails, from a 1.5 children's rig up to a 7.8 cambered sail.
