Garganosurf, Cala Azzurra

Garganosurf runs its Center 1 inside the Cala Azzurra resort in the Baia di Santa Maria, about five kilometres north of Vieste. The bay runs four kilometres, the beach is 30 to 50 metres wide, and the side-on wind in that crescent suits windsurfing, wingfoiling and SUP alike.

The school teaches windsurfing to VDWS standard, kiting to IKO, plus wingfoiling, wave riding and SUP. Windsurf lessons run with a radio helmet in German, Italian, French and English. There are kids and private courses, plus rental, storage and repair on site.
