ION Club Golf de Roses

About this spot

The ION CLUB center sits on the Golf de Roses on the Costa Brava, in the wide sandy bay between Sant Pere Pescador and Roses. The water stays shallow, with sandbars and waist-deep zones that make it an easy place to learn. From May to October the wind usually fills in during the afternoon, sideshore from the southeast at 20 to 25 knots.

Lessons cover windsurfing, kitesurfing, wingfoiling, SUP and surfing, with separate zones for kiters and windsurfers in peak season. Courses start from age 6 and run from first try to advanced coaching. The ION CLUB network has existed since 1985, and a rescue boat and a Pro Center round things out.
