Pipos Surfbude is on Baltrum's north beach, section A, right in the East Frisian Wadden Sea. Off the island, sandbars form a shallow lagoon that turns into a manageable standing area for learning to kite as the tide comes in. The tide sets the rhythm of the day here, with the best window around high water.
Philipp and Pia teach kitesurfing from the taster course through the intermediate and refresh courses, each with the VDWS Level Card. There are also guided SUP tours and equipment rental. Lessons run on current Duotone gear, and the school is a registered VDWS watersports centre.
