Sail & Surf Rügen is in the harbour of Altefähr on the Strelasund, the channel between Rügen and Stralsund (Am Fährberg 8). Sheltered, shallow water with a view of Stralsund's old town - a good place to learn sailing and surfing from scratch.

The focus is sailing: a 15-hour basic course covers the fundamentals, plus catamaran and dinghy courses and the SBF Binnen, SBF See and SRC radio licences. Windsurfing and SUP round out the programme, along with kids' and youth camps. The school is a Naish test centre running several stations; boats, cats and kayaks are available to rent.
