Stickl is set in the Val di Sogno bay near Malcesine on the mid eastern shore of Lake Garda. Founded in 1976 by Heinz Stickl – former sailing European champion and windsurfing world champion – it's one of the big names on the lake and the largest VDWS Hobie Cat centre in Europe. They teach windsurfing, kitesurfing, wingfoil, SUP, sailing and catamaran.
Courses run from beginner through intermediate (F1/F2) to perfection (P1/P2), with kids' and youth courses and regatta training too. Foiling is on SKEETA, Waszp and Birdyfish. Accommodation comes via partner hotels like Beach Hotel Rosa and Clubhotel Olivi, plus apartments. Garda thermals: Pelèr in the morning, Ora in the afternoon.
