Südkap Surfing runs two stations on Sylt: one in Wenningstedt in the centre of the island, one in Hörnum to the south. This is North Sea water, and the sandbars off Wenningstedt make a solid spot for learning to ride waves. The schedule covers windsurfing, kiting, SUP, sailing and surfing, taught in small groups along current VDWS lines. Kite courses run just two students per instructor, so everyone flies their own kite.
There is also a Next Generation Windsurf Academy aimed at young riders heading into racing. The sailing school is VDWS-certified.
