Sunbird Windsurfing

Sunbird sits in Čikat bay near Mali Lošinj, about a hundred metres from Hotel Bellevue. The bay is sheltered from swell and the thermal wind comes in onshore roughly nine days out of ten, a dependable place to learn.

Since 1981 the school has taught windsurfing and catamaran sailing to VDWS standard, plus SUP and kayaking. There are beginner and private courses as well as watersports-assistant training and internships toward the VDWS licence. The fleet runs around 30 boards and 40 rigs from 1.5 to 7.5 m². Founded by Elmar Vogel.
