The SUP Club Starnberger See gets you stand-up paddling just outside Munich. You paddle off the Seebad in Starnberg and the Südbad in Tutzing, with further spots on the Chiemsee and a mobile SUP trailer. With clear water and the foothills of the Alps as a backdrop, Lake Starnberg is a calm, flatwater playground that suits first strokes perfectly.
Founded in 2014 by VDWS SUP instructor Eliane Droemer, the station is VDWS-certified. It runs technique courses, kids' and school programmes, plus SUP yoga and fitness. Every guest gets a free safety briefing, and you ride Starboard boards.
