Right in Lübeck, on the Wakenitz basin close to the old town, you'll find the Surf- und SUP-Schule Wakenitz. The Wakenitz is a calm freshwater stretch often called the "Amazon of the North" - barely any waves, easy to read, good for learning.
Windsurfing and stand-up paddling are the focus, with beginner courses available. On the water you can take in the old town from a SUP or wind down on a board after work. The test station carries inflatable SUPs from Starboard, Fanatic, RED Paddle and Oukai. The station is run by Surf-Center Lübeck (St. Jürgen-Ring 64).
