About this spot

Surfers Paradise teaches at Drejby beach on Kegnæs, a small island south of Als where the Flensburg Fjord opens into the Baltic. The large, shallow standing area is tide-independent and works in any wind direction – flat inland-style water with the wind reliability of a coastal spot.

By its own account the world's first VDWS kite school, founded in 1998. Courses cover kiting, wingfoiling, windsurfing, SUP and pumpfoiling, plus kids' camps and school trips. Gear includes Reedin, North and KT Foils; the meeting point is the water sports station at the beach campsite.
