Surf'n'Kite Düsseldorf is based on the Südstrand of the Unterbacher See, about 20 minutes from the city centre. The lake is shallow, standing-depth water with a sandy beach – a solid place to learn windsurfing, wing surfing and SUP from scratch. The windsurfing basic licence exam follows VDWS guidelines, and the team includes VDWS instructors for windsurfing, SUP and wing surf/foil. You can ride your own gear on the lake; wing foiling with your own kit needs a day pass and a VDWS Level 3 licence.

The kite school operates mobile, running its weekend on-water sessions at the Roompot Beach Resort in the Netherlands. On site you'll find a sandy beach, a sun terrace and a well-stocked surf and beach shop.
