Surfpoint Vantone

About this spot

Surfpoint Vantone sits on Lake Idro in Lombardy (province of Brescia) and has been part of Sportcamping Rio Vantone since 1987. Around midday the lake's setting generates a thermal southerly known as the "Ander", making Lake Idro a reliable windsurfing spot away from the Garda crowds.

It teaches windsurfing to the VDWS standard, from beginner level up, plus SUP, kayak and rental. The Meiseleder family runs the station, teaching in German, Italian, Dutch and English. Gear includes Fanatic, Duotone and ION. Season: Whitsun to September.
