Surfschule Heidkate sits on the beach near Wisch in the Probstei, on the eastern shore of Kiel Bay not far from Kiel. You learn windsurfing, kitesurfing and wing surfing here, plus pump foiling and SUP. As a VDWS school you can earn your VDWS licence during the course. Kite courses run March to November; the main station opens daily from mid-April to early October. Family-run feel on one of the region's good Baltic beaches. The Baltic is tide-free – offshore wind gives flat water, onshore brings the usual chop to practise in.
