The Windsurfing & Sailing division of TSV Kirchhain e.V. is a club operation on the Niederwälder Baggersee, a gravel lake in the Amöneburg basin northeast of Marburg. Surfing and dinghy sailing take place on the calm, club-run lake, where the division was formed in 1978 as an independent section for windsurfing and dinghy sailing. Children and teenagers can join training at reduced rates, from taster sessions to a roughly week-long surf course with a certificate. As a club it runs on member participation rather than commercial spot operation. For learning inland near Marburg, it's a down-to-earth way in.
