This is not a classic beach spot but a listing of the VDWS, the German Water Sports Schools association, which is headquartered in Weilheim in Upper Bavaria. The VDWS has been training instructors since 1974 and stands behind more than 500 water sports centres in over 30 countries.
The association's work centres on training and licences for kiting, windsurfing, wing foiling and SUP: from the basic licence for beginners through to multi-day instructor courses. The licences are internationally recognised and each valid for three years.
