WasserSportCenter Mandichosee is on the eastern shore of the Lech barrage 23 between Augsburg and Landsberg – a Lech reservoir that surfers simply call Mandichosee. As a recognised VDWS surf school, it has been operating since 1976, making it one of Bavaria's most established inland stations.
It offers windsurf courses in small groups (maximum six participants), plus wing rental, SUP courses, SUP safaris and SUP yoga as well as boat rental. The small groups and flat freshwater make Mandichosee a calm learning spot for anyone who wants to start windsurfing far from the coast.
