The Wassersportschule Senftenberger See is set on the Senftenberger See in the Lusatian Lake District, a flooded opencast mine and therefore flat, warm freshwater in a sheltered spot beside a nature reserve. It offers windsurfing, SUP and catamaran sailing plus boat rental. The school is led by Klaus Brinschwitz, VDWS-licensed and long experienced; kids' windsurf courses start as young as age 3, alongside school trips and water-sports camps. The gear partner is Fanatic. The season opens in May, and dogs are welcome on site.
