Wikingsurf was founded in 2013 by Sven Barkholtz in Zubzow near Trent; today the base sits on the campsite in Schaprode in western Rügen. Surfing and sailing happen on the flat Bodden and Baltic water, whose shallow depths make a forgiving place to learn. Windsurfing runs from a taster session through basic and intermediate courses to kids' classes, alongside sailing courses, sailing trips, SUP, canoe rental and raft building for groups. Wikingsurf is a VDWS surf and sailing school carrying the Quality Training in Water Sports seal. You can also take the offshore powerboat licence here.
