About this spot
The main station of Windsurfing Föhr is on the south beach in Wyk, on Strandstraße, right on the North Frisian Wadden Sea. The spot is strongly tidal: around high water a shallow, easy-to-read area forms, ideal for first runs, and the wind blows reliably. The station is open daily from April to October.
The programme covers windsurfing, kitesurfing and SUP plus catamaran and Optimist sailing, for beginners and advanced riders alike. Rental gear is available, and Pitschi's beach bar takes care of food and drinks on the beach. Everything runs to VDWS standards.
