The windsurfing school run by the University of Konstanz sports department is on Lake Constance (Bodensee). This freshwater spot is part of a broad water sports programme that spans sailing, rowing, kayaking, SUP and diving.
In the basic courses you learn the fundamentals of windsurfing and can take the VDWS basic licence if you like. Many sessions run as weekly evening courses. Gear can be rented at fair rates, including at weekends. Since 2015 kitesurfing has also been part of the programme.
