About this spot
Flag Beach is one of the longest-established watersports centres on Fuerteventura, based in Corralejo in the northeast of the island, opposite Isla de Lobos. You launch straight onto the sea from the sandy beach, while beginners get a shuttle to sheltered lagoons and bays such as Cotillo, where shin-deep flatwater over a sandy bottom is ideal for learning. Spring and summer bring the famous trade winds (Alisios) cross-shore. They teach windsurfing, kitesurfing, wingfoil, surfing and SUP. The crew speaks English, German, Spanish and Italian.
