About this spot
Flisvos Sportclub is the big watersports name on Naxos, running since 1993. The main center sits on the flat lagoon of St George Bay just outside Naxos Town, while the kite center is out at the Mikri Vigla spot. In summer the north Meltemi delivers reliable wind, and the lagoon is flat and partly waist-deep, great for learning and freestyle.
It teaches windsurfing, wingfoiling, SUP and kitesurfing, with VDWS courses. Gear comes from RRD, Neil Pryde, Duotone and Ensis. There is also a surf shop, beach cafe and the club's own accommodation from studios to beach houses. Lessons in German, English and French.
