Fun & Wave sits right at the Steinhude harbour on the Steinhuder Meer, the largest inland lake in Lower Saxony and one of the most reliable flat-water spots near Hannover. The lake is wide and shallow throughout, which makes the first steps in windsurfing easy and gets kids planing fast.
The school teaches windsurfing from a 12-hour beginner course through kids' courses up to the VDWS exam. On top of that there is wingfoiling, SUP, dinghy and catamaran sailing, Optimist courses for youngsters and the inland powerboat licence. As an official VDWS school with the QAW seal, training follows a fixed standard.
