Ibi & friends developed Seahorse Bay between Hurghada and El Gouna specifically for kitesurfers. The bay offers a large standing area and steady wind – particularly beginner-friendly, with enough room for two separate teaching zones so novices and advanced riders stay out of each other's way.
Kitesurfing is taught by VDWS-licensed instructors in German or English, in small groups of no more than four; you can earn the VDWS kite licence straight afterwards. The centre sits on a roughly 1,400 m² plot with a garden right on the beach, with rental and storage for up to 25 guests. Three places to stay are a few minutes' walk away.
