KiteBoarding Fehmarn teaches at Gold on the south side of the island, on the Orther Reede. This is Fehmarn's largest standing area – flat water with no current or waves, where beginners can stand at any time. That makes it one of the most dependable learning spots on the Baltic, whatever direction the wind comes from.

Lessons follow the VDWS standard: one instructor per two students, each with their own kite, board and radio. VDWS levels run from supervised riding (Level 3) to gear rental (Level 5). For the water start, the motorboat Kuddel tows students across the bay. Beyond kiting there's wakeboarding, SUP, foiling and bike rental. The school is run by owner Holger Wilder.
