KSN Kiteschule runs its kite station in Friesland on the IJsselmeer, at Camping de Groninger near Nijemirdum. The big, shallow lake behind the dyke is reliable, safe water for learning to kitesurf.
The focus is kitesurfing, with SUP alongside. The beginner course runs over two days, around 8 to 10 hours, with kite, board, wetsuit and harness included. Training follows the VDWS standard including the licence. You can camp on site with a tent, caravan or motorhome.
