MB Pro Center sits right on the Porto Pollo spot, about five kilometers from Palau in northern Sardinia. The sheltered bay in the strait between Sardinia and Corsica delivers wind from 4 to 8 Beaufort almost year-round: often gentler in the morning and ideal for beginners, stronger in the afternoon, with flat water in the bay and small waves further out.
The center teaches windsurfing and foiling, wing foiling, kiting, plus SUP and kayaking – courses for adults, a kids academy and VDWS license seminars. Instruction runs in German, English, Dutch and Italian, with RRD gear throughout. Founded in 1981 on Lake Garda and based in Porto Pollo since 2009. Founder Michiel Bouwmeester was inducted into the Windsurfing Hall of Fame in 2024.
