Nordwind Wassersport operates several stations around the Eckernförder Bucht on the Baltic, including Surendorf and Damp. With its shallow sandbars, Surendorf works well for windsurf beginners. The line-up covers windsurfing, catamaran, sailing, kiting and wing foiling.
Instruction comes from licensed teachers following DSV and VDWS guidelines. The stations are run as VDWS water sports centres; Surendorf operates May to October, Damp June to October.
