Red Woods sits right on the Achterwasser on the Gnitz peninsula, in Lütow within the Usedom nature park. The calm Achterwasser is far more sheltered than the open Baltic, which makes it a comfortable place to start out. The VDWS-certified surf school teaches windsurfing, wingsurfing and wingfoiling, plus catamaran and Optimist sailing as well as canoeing and kayaking. Red Woods is best known for its international holiday camps for children and teenagers aged 10 and up, with water sports by day and a programme on land. The season opens in early April each year.
