About this spot
Salty is based on the North Sea island of Spiekeroog, right in the Wadden Sea. The spot is tidal, with wide shallow areas where you can practise safely, and it stays nicely uncrowded – little traffic, plenty of nature.
The school teaches kiting and surfing, both as VDWS-certified courses for beginners and advanced riders. You ride modern Duotone gear. There's a beach bar at the station, and the course season opens in May.
