On Lake Chiemsee, the big Bavarian thermal lake between Prien and the Alps, the SUP Club is all about stand-up paddling. You launch from Schramlstrand with a view of the Herreninsel and the mountains behind it – flat, calm freshwater that is ideal for grooving a clean paddle stroke.
Courses follow the VDWS standard, from technique training up to the internationally recognised VDWS SUP basic licence, which serves as proof for board rental and guided tours. Alongside individual lessons there are programmes for school classes, companies and groups, plus Big SUPs for four to six people and SUP polo as a team game. The only requirement is that you can swim.
