The Surf- und Segelschule Müggelsee sits in Berlin-Köpenick on the Fürstenwalder Damm, right on the Müggelsee, Berlin's largest lake. This wide, calm sheet of water in the middle of the city is a relaxed spot for your first runs on a board.
The VDWS school has been going since 1987 and has helped more than 8,000 people earn their German boating licence. Alongside windsurfing there's sailing, catamaran, wing and eFoil courses, plus summer surf courses for kids. The spot itself is flat, sheltered and easy to reach by S-Bahn.
