Surfers Paradise is based in Mardorf on the Steinhuder Meer, the largest lake in Lower Saxony and a classic flatwater spot inside the nature park. The waist-deep, safe water works well for both beginners and improvers.
Lessons cover kitesurfing, windsurfing, wingfoiling, SUP, e-foiling, pump foiling, plus sailing and catamaran. The school calls itself the world's first VDWS kite school and has run since 1998. Courses start Mondays, Fridays and Saturdays, SUP on Saturdays, with the season from mid-March to mid-November. Gear comes from Naish, Airush and Slingshot. Tuition in German, English, French and Spanish.
