Surfschule Haffkrug sits right on the beach in Haffkrug on Lübeck Bay, a part of Scharbeutz. Fine sand, a shallow entry and the sheltered position behind the stone groyne keep the spot calm – handy for anyone putting wind and board together for the first time.
The school teaches windsurfing, wing surfing and wing foiling plus SUP, all to VDWS standard. There are wing taster sessions, wing beginner courses from age twelve and windsurf courses for children aged eight to twelve. Gear – board, sail or wing and wetsuit – is included in the courses.
