About this spot
Windsurfing Edersee has its base in the Bringhausen bay on the Edersee, the large reservoir in the hilly uplands of northern Hesse. It's freshwater tucked between wooded slopes – flat water where you can learn windsurfing, refresh or build on your skills. If you already hold the VDWS basic licence you can rent suitable gear, and there are also SUP boards, canoes and kayaks for hire.
The school offers a five-hour taster course and a ten-hour basic course. The season runs from May to September.
