About this spot

Lomma – Lomma Beach is a kitesurf, wingfoil and windsurf spot in Sweden. Home spot of the Kite.se kite school at Lomma Beach House, where kite lessons have been held for more than ten years. Long, gently sloping sandy beach without currents, shells or stones – very good for learning. Steady W winds, often crowded on the water. On bathing days an agreed zoning between swimmers and kiters applies. Up to about 300 m from the shore it is usually shallow to very shallow (depending on the water level); south of the small harbour it gets deep immediately.

The spot works best with wind from W, SW, NW; the windiest period is May–Sep. The water is mostly flat. It suits beginners and intermediates.
