About this spot
Poste Lafayette is a kitesurf spot in Mauritius. Unspoilt beach on the east coast, about 20 minutes' drive north of Belle Mare. Very flat water with widely spaced waves, usually deep enough that you hardly touch the bottom. Good for beginners and for practising.
The spot works best with wind from E, SE; the windiest period is Jun–Oct. The water is mostly flat. It suits beginners and intermediates.
