About this spot
Valencia – El Perellonet is a kitesurf spot in Spain. In summer (15 June–15 September) the city of Valencia sets up a buoyed kite zone around 200 m wide here. In the 2017/2018 tenders, the zone was supervised in the afternoons (14:30–19:30) by an attendant who also checks liability insurance. Under the coastal regulations, kiting without a channel is not allowed.
The spot works best with wind from NE, E, SE; the windiest period is Jun–Sep. Expect choppy water most of the time. It suits intermediates and advanced riders.
