Whitstable – The Street is a kitesurf spot in the United Kingdom. At low tide the shingle bank “The Street” is exposed – then smooth flat water, rideable about 2.5 hours either side of low tide. Set up on the shingle beach; not directly in front of “The Street”, where there are many walkers. Small, helpful community; alternatively “The Point” at the end of Marine Crescent.
The spot works best with wind from W, NW, N, NE, E; the windiest period is Aug–Feb. The water is mostly flat. It suits intermediates and advanced riders.
