About this spot
The Südkap Surfing water sports center sits in the south of Sylt in Hörnum. You learn in the shallow standing area on the east side of town, south of the beach and without waves – exactly the kind of water for building solid windsurfing or SUP basics. Lessons run in small groups of up to six people per instructor. On site there are more than 50 boards and sails plus a surf shop carrying their own brand, Salty Elements. Alongside windsurfing and stand-up paddling, the program includes kite courses and sailing.
