Windsurfing Fehmarn was one of the first surf schools on the Baltic island and has been teaching for over 40 years. The practice area is a sheltered bay with a large shallow-water zone where no awkward waves catch you and you can't drift off, just right for first steps. Lessons are run by trained VDWS instructors, with windsurfing and SUP on the programme. Beginner and return-to-sport courses run over two days. For making use of Fehmarn's Baltic flat-water conditions, it's a structured and safe place to learn.
