About this spot
Aruba – Fisherman's Huts (Hadicurari) is a kitesurf, wingfoil and windsurf spot in Aruba. Hadicurari Beach (“Fisherman's Huts”) lies north of the Marriott between the Ritz-Carlton and Malmok Beach and, according to the tourism authority, is Aruba's wind sports playground. Very flat, calm water with steady trade winds; numerous windsurf and kite schools with rental. Buoys/flags in the water separate areas by skill level; the area near the shore is for beginners. Every year in June or July the Aruba Hi-Winds takes place here, the largest windsurfing event in the Caribbean.
The spot works best with wind from E, NE (Passat, side-shore); the windiest period is Jan–Aug. The water is mostly flat. It suits beginners, intermediates and advanced riders.
