About this spot
Dakhla – White Dune is a kitesurf, wingfoil and windsurf spot in Morocco. Flat-water spot on the east side of the Dakhla lagoon in front of a large white dune. Only reachable by car in a four-wheel-drive vehicle. Kite camps offer downwinders to the dune almost daily (about 3 hours). The NE trade wind blows very steadily in the lagoon.
The spot works best with wind from N, NE; the windiest period is Apr–Oct. The water is mostly flat. It suits intermediates and advanced riders.
