About this spot
Falsterbo – Strandbad is a kitesurf and windsurf spot in Sweden. The municipality of Vellinge designates dedicated kite and windsurf areas at Falsterbo Strandbad (municipal map). From 15.6. to 15.8. kite only in the recommended zones; from 16.8. to 14.6. also outside them when there are no swimmers. The zones are marked on the beach with a post and a small flag.
The spot works best with wind from S, SW, W; the windiest period is Apr–Oct. Expect choppy water most of the time. It suits intermediates and advanced riders.
